Floating Fish Feed Extrusion Process

Raw materials for floating fish feed extrusion process generally have a certain starch content (more than 20%) and a certain moisture content. During the feed milling process, through high temperature and high pressure treatment, the starch is gelatinized, the proteins are layered and the moisture is in an overheated state. Then it is reduced to atmospheric pressure in a short time, and the temperature drops suddenly. Under the influence of temperature difference and pressure difference, the volume of feed rapidly expands, and moisture evaporates quickly to form a loose structure feed, namely extruded feed.
